TreatTicket receives Invest Growth Fund investment.

E-Synergy's Invest Growth Fund invested in TreatTicket

Northern Ireland’s £5m Invest Growth Fund (IGF) has today announced the completion of an investment into TreatTicket.  Glengormley based, TreatTicket is a daily deal website that offers substantial discounts on a range of experiences and treats from overnight stays and spa packages to restaurant offers and golfing days.

TreatTicket is currently live in 5 UK cities.  The financing round from the IGF, provided by Invest Northern Ireland and managed by E-Synergy, will allow the company to increase the scale and pace of it’s roll-out.

Tristan Brittain-Dissont, the IGF Fund Manager, has joined the TreatTicket board. “The company’s achievements to date have been extremely impressive.  We are confident that the business model together with the highly experienced team will contribute to continued growth and success”, commented Tristan. “We are also delighted to announce that Shaa Wasmund has joined the board. Shaa is a social media evangelist and an inspirational business woman. She founded Smarta.com, the UK's leading support platform for business owners and entrepreneurs, growing it to become one of the leading small business resources in the UK. We look forward to her experience and wisdom as we build TreatTicket”.

Mary McCall, CEO, said: "We welcome the investment from the IGF to allow us to expand our geographical footprint. We want to ensure that we make a real impact and offer businesses and subscribers a new form of shopping for the 21st century. Cash in households across the country might be tight but treats don't need to be out of the question.  Today's consumers are both tech savvy and value driven and demand a level of service which we can deliver."

Gren Armstrong, Invest NI’s North Eastern Regional Manager said: “The digital environment has changed the dynamics of how consumers buy products and services. This has created opportunities for both traditional retailers and new web-based businesses. This seed investment in TreatTicket will allow the company to expand their market share in the UK and Ireland creating opportunites for both employment and much needed revenue streams.
