The Invest Growth Fund (IGF) completed its first investment in August 2009 of £100k, taking a stake in Sonic Music Services Ltd (Sonic Academy) as part of a £340k financing from the IGF, Business Angels and other sources of financial support.

Sonic Academy is the home of music production and DJ training on the web. With a rapidly growing online global community of tens of thousands of users, Sonic Academy delivers beginner to advanced video tutorials in digital DJing and music production using all the leading software packages, including Ableton, Cubase, Reason and Logic plus much more. The funds will be used principally to support the rapidly growing on-line presence of the company.
